Dr. Colleen Garza is an Austin native and a graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2006.
She has spent many years in general practice providing compassionate care for pets and their families. She believes in taking time to listen to each pet owner’s concerns to create a care plan to meet the unique needs of each pet and their family.
Dr. Garza has a special interest in ultrasound and cardiology. Her background includes specialty training in veterinary ultrasound and working for a mobile veterinary ultrasound practice. She has also served as an assistant ultrasound instructor with FASTVet, helping train other veterinarians in life-saving ultrasound imaging techniques. She integrates the ultrasound to gain deeper insight into her patients’ conditions and guide the most effective treatment plans.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Garza’s favorite moments are those spent with her husband, Matias, their two daughters, and their beloved dog and cat.
